Pioneering sustainability in telecommunications

What does it mean to be a Certified B Corporation?

The B Corp Certification, administered by the nonprofit, B Lab, is evidence that we’re meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency in factors from employee benefits to governance and the environment.

To become certified, companies must document the impact they have and undergo an independent verification process every three years to achieve and maintain certification.

Where are we having impact?

A Certified B Corporation is assessed across five categories: governance, workers, customers, community and the environment.

Workers

Focusing on our people has always been a top priority, and we’re making waves in this area. We offer numerous benefits to our people, such as flexible working, leave purchasing, a broadband allowance, and an annual wellbeing and sustainability allowance. We also offer additional paid parental leave.

Working for Enable

Community

We actively engage with local communities and support initiatives that foster education and digital inclusion. Enable collaborates with schools, non-profit organisations, and community groups to make a positive difference in the lives of Cantabrians.

Sponsorships

Customers

Enable have dedicated teams tasked with upholding customer value in all aspects of our business. This includes, making sure our marketing is compliant with advertising standards, ensuring customer data is kept private, and having the mechanisms in place to incorporate customer feedback into our decision making.

Environment

Through considerable investment into energy-efficient technologies (such as solar panels) and responsible waste management practices, Enable are significantly reducing our electricity consumption, greenhouse gas and carbon emissions, and waste generations. We’re on track to be a net zero emission company by 2030.

Governance

Enable are meeting a high standard of legal requirements that ensure we're operating our business fairly. An example of this is how we provide information to the public on our financial performance, as well as our social and environmental performance.
